Discovery Church is one church with two locations on Florida's Treasure Coast, Fort Pierce and Vero Beach. We exist to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus. Every role on this team serves that one mission, and the people who thrive here care about the person in front of them more than the program around them.

The Role

What you would carry

The spiritual, pastoral, and operational leader of a Discovery Church campus: shepherding the congregation, leading the weekend worship gathering, developing staff and volunteer leaders, and building a campus where disciples are made and deployed.

  • Shepherd the campus congregation as its primary spiritual leader, and champion the mission, vision, and values of Discovery Church.
  • Oversee every part of the weekend worship gathering, from platform leadership to hospitality, production, and the guest experience.
  • Lead, coach, and develop campus staff, and build a leadership pipeline of volunteers who go on to lead others.
  • Provide pastoral care: counseling, prayer, crisis support, weddings, funerals, baptisms, and child dedications.
  • Move people into Discovery Groups, serving, and the next step in front of them.
  • Steward campus operations, facilities, budget, and the systems behind guest follow-up and volunteer engagement.
  • Represent Discovery in the community and lead local outreach and partnerships.
