The next generation isn't the church of someday, they're the church right now. From their very first Sunday, we want your kids to know they're loved, they belong, and Jesus is for them.

WHAT DISCOVERY KIDS IS

Jesus, on their level.

Discovery Kids is the ministry where the youngest end of our church gets cared for and taught well. Four rooms, sorted by age and stage: Beginnings for babies, Littles for toddlers, smalls for Pre-K, and BIGS for kindergarten through 5th grade. Every room is open on Sundays at both Fort Pierce and Vero Beach. Wednesday nights, BIGS, smalls, Littles, and Beginnings open again at the Fort Pierce campus.

FOUR ROOMS

Find your kid's room.

Every kid from birth through 5th grade has a room here, sorted by age and stage so they're with the kids who are their size and the leaders who get them.

  • Beginnings

    BIRTH – 1 YEAR

    Babies birth through one get a safe, nurturing space and a team that holds your baby with the same care they'd hold their own.

  • Littles

    2 – 4 YEARS

    Toddlers two through four learn that God loves them through stories, songs, play, and leaders who actually like two-year-olds.

  • smalls

    PRE-K

    Big truths in small ways: Pre-K kids get the Bible through hands-on stories, songs, and leaders who are cheering them on.

  • BIGS

    KINDERGARTEN – 5TH GRADE

    Big emotions, big questions, big dreams: K through 5th get worship, Bible teaching, and a team building a faith they can call their own.

CHECK-IN AND SAFETY

Your kid is known, named, and watched.

Leaving your kid in a room you've never been in is a real thing to feel. We take that seriously, and here's exactly how check-in works at Discovery Kids.

  1. Step 1

    Arrive at Discovery Kids Check-in.

    Walk in and look for Discovery Kids Check-in near the main entrance. A volunteer from our Kids Team meets you, asks your kid's name and age, and walks you to the right room.

  2. Step 2

    Get your name tags.

    You and your kid both get a tag with a matching code, so no one picks up your kid except you. The kid wears one. You keep the other.

  3. Step 3

    Pick up after the worship gathering.

    After the worship gathering, come back to Discovery Kids Check-in and show your tag. The leader checks the codes match and hands your kid back to you. No tag, no kid.

Every Discovery Kids volunteer is background-checked, and there are always two trained adults in each room. If you want to talk through any of this before your first Sunday, reach out to our Kids Team and we will gladly walk you through it.

The first Sunday is the hardest one. If your kid is nervous, you can walk them in. If you're nervous, we get it, and we would love to welcome both of you.
