The Role

What you would carry

Serving under the Music Pastor, the Music Director leads music primarily at the Vero Beach campus: planning and preparing worship sets, leading rehearsals, and recruiting, training, and shepherding the worship and tech teams.

  • Lead music at the Vero Beach campus and help plan worship gatherings alongside the Music Pastor.
  • Prepare sets that carry the sermon theme, and keep every song, lyric, and creative element biblically sound and Gospel-centered.
  • Run weekly rehearsals and lead vocalists, musicians, and tech volunteers to a high standard.
  • Recruit, train, and develop new musicians, and mentor the worship leaders coming up behind you.
  • Disciple team members personally, and care for them and their families through real life.
  • Coordinate music technology, planning software, scheduling, and the music library.
  • Provide music leadership for weddings, funerals, conferences, prayer gatherings, and church-wide celebrations.
