Jacob

Isaac's family was plagued by deceit and distrust, but a dysfunctional family is no match for the sovereign hand of God. In spite of the continuing battle between Jacob and Esau and the sinful habits that have been passed down for generations, the Lord's plan will not be stopped.

Jacob’s name means "trickster" or "heel catcher," and he lived up to his name. In this series, we will see that the father’s of our faith were human and imperfect. But God uses the imperfect, just like us. God is faithful even when we are unfaithful.
